A surprising piece of AVATAR news came from Rhode Island Comic Con this weekend, where actor Joel David Moore was present to meet with fans of his various works. In a conversation with fans during a meet-and-greet, Moore revealed that principal photography for AVATAR 4 and 5 is set to begin next month. The AVATAR sequels have faced a decade of delay. However, with live action and motion capture on the immediate sequel wrapping earlier this year and filming on the third installment at '95%', it's clear that Cameron's return to Pandora is still in full swing despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. AVATAR 2 is set to release on December 16th, 2022, with each additional film coming every two years following. Update 11/11/2021: Moore has denied this statement.
