AVATAR Pandora Rising Shutting Down

On February 11th, Scopely announced via an in-game PSA that support for AVATAR: Pandora Rising is ending on April 4th, 2022. This announcement follows months of uncertainty regarding the future of the game, which was previously said to be undergoing "major changes" in preparation for a global release this year.

With this news, the number of AVATAR games slated for release this year is reduced from three to two: UbiMassive's Frontiers of Pandora and Level Infinite's AVATAR: Reckoning, the latter of which was announced earlier this year. Taking into account Lightstorm Entertainment's history of canceled AVATAR games, it is not likely that Pandora Rising or any variant of the game will ever see official release.
